This pocket is inspired by an 18th-century pocket held at the Winterthur Museum. I digitized and machine-embroidered it in an updated colorway and one that resembles the colors of the original pocket. The pocket pattern itself is based on an extant pocket studied in Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion 1 but scaled down by 25% to meet the embroidery hoop's max dimensions.
The pocket is made of a cotton linen fabric, embroidered using rayon thread, and finished with Petersham ribbon.
